Sources

Every rule on ebikelaws.ca comes from a source listed here, with the date we last checked it.

How we choose sources

  • Official sources first: the statute or regulation (on CanLII or the government’s own site), the province’s transport ministry, and Transport Canada.
  • Secondary sources (news, cycling groups) only point us to the official one. They are marked “secondary”.
  • “Checked” is the date we read the source. Anything we couldn’t confirm is left blank on the page, never guessed.
